When the Third Temple is built in the Messianic Age, God's ShechinahShechinah means Divine Presence. Third Temple describes a central place of gathering, celebration, and prayer, whose physical structure will serve as a sanctuary for the Shechinah. Our non-profit organization, the Shechinah Third Temple, Inc. relates the three H(s) of the word sHecHinaH to God being the Holy of Holy of Holy. Our Creator, HASHEM in Hebrew, is the G-d (written this way out of reverence to our Creator) of Heaven, the G-d of Earth and the G-d of all beings everywhere, forever and ever. Spiritual human beings, who believe in One G-d and pray to Him and love Him, know either intuitively or miraculously through Divine Intervention that G-d is with them in their lives. However, nowhere on earth in our modern world does G-d currently make His Presence known in other than a hidden-from-view fashion to His faithful believers. In fact, for the Jewish people, God's Shechinah disappeared some twenty-five hundred years ago from the public stage. Yet hundreds of years before Its disappearance, thirteen Hebrew Prophets, king David, and the devout Daniel spoke about the return of the Shechinah to the Jews at a future time when the Third Temple will be built in the State of Israel. It is also clear from the Scriptures that the Third Temple is meant for peoples of all nations [ Isaiah 56:7, “For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” ] and not just for the Jews. As Isaiah [ Isaiah 11:9 ] so eloquently further stated “The earth shall be full of the knowledge of God as the waters cover the sea.” Our recognition of G-d will therefore increase to a level such that this, we hope, will preclude further sin on our part. |
